Nasarawa E-Libraries to start work, Government to Construct Ultra Modern Exam Centre

His Excellency Umaru Tanko Almakura has made it known that the five (5) E-Libraries constructed and furnished by the Nasarawa state Government would soon start work and the Government was to construct an Ultra-Modern mega exam center that would enable hundreds of persons sit for national examinations at a time.

Governor Almakura made this known speaking with the press at the Lafia E-Library following a visit to the proposed examination center site, and the new Zonal JAMB office behind the Library, which he had earlier visited in the company of His Excellency Silas Ali Agara, the SSG Barr. Mohammmed Hassan Abdullahi and Commissioners of Works, Information, Finance, Commerce and the Nasarawa State Jamb State Coordinator to access the locations.

The Governor said that the Examination Center would be sited next to the new Lafia JAMB Zonal Office, explaining that the JAMB had considered bringing its North Central JAMB office to the state and the exam hall beside it would complement it and make it easier on students to register and sit for the exams .

He explained that students and parents would soon get to smile as the process of opening the doors to the five e-libraries across the state had been started and within the next couple of weeks the libraries would be open to the public.
