Gov. Almakura Signs Nasarawa 2018 Appropriation Bill in to Law

His Excellency Umaru Tanko Almakura has described the signing of the Nasarawa 2018 Appropriation Bill as a very historical event that was like no other budget as it would ensure sustainable development in the state, as well as ensure that all that was conceived in the start of the administration and forecasted till the end of the administration would be realized,

Gov. Almakura made this known as he signed the Nasarawa 2018 Appropriation Bill which was passed by the Nasarawa State House of Assembly into Law in a brief ceremony at the Council Chamber of the Government House Lafia .

Gov. Almakura commended the Nasarawa State House of Assembly for their commitment, patriotism, care and love for the people of Nasarawa State by their swift dillibration on the 2018 budget. Stating that the Law being signed today would change the lives of a substantive number of people in the State

Lastly the Governor assured the Assembly of commitment to the execution of this Bill for the betterment of the people of Nasarawa State.

The Nasarawa State House of Assembly, recently passed the state’s 2018 appropriation bill of N125.4 billion providing a total amount of N125,419,687,484 billion comprising recurrent expenditure of N45,969,685,848 and capital expenditure of N72,826,002,000 billion, for the 2018 fiscal year.

The Bill Signing had the Speaker NSHA Rt, Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, Principle Officers of the Nasarawa state House of Assembly , the Secretary to the State Government, the Commissioner of Justice and the Clerk of the Nasarawa state House of Assembly present.
